Stain Guide
Act quickly! Reacting before a stain sets can be key to its removal. Dab stain gently with a white cloth. Proceed from the border of the stain towards the center. Rinse.
Where possible, these specific stains may be removed using the following methods:
| Calcium: | Dab with warm, damp cloth without soaking garment. Blot dry with a towel. |
| Lipstick: | Dab with cloth using warm water. |
| Nail Polish: | Use non-oily nail polish remover. |
| Ball Point Pen: | Use warm water and mild detergent. |
| Coffee, tea, chocolate: | Use water and mild detergent followed by carbonated water or vinegar. |
| Blood: | Use carbonated water followed by cold water and mild detergent. |
| Fruit juice, soft drinks: | Use water with a mild detergent. |
| Gravy, sauces or grease: | Dab with cloth. If required, repeat with warm water and detergent. |
| Wine: | Dab with cloth. Salt may help remove a red wine stain. Rinse with cold water. |
When wetting your garment, always allow to dry at room temperature away from direct heat. For heavy or set-in stains, bring your garment to a reputable dry-cleaner or follow the home-cleaning instructions sewn inside your garment.
