Our Guarantee

We stand behind our quality. 
All buttons and zippers are guaranteed for life on every winter coat and jacket we sell. Broken zippers and buttons will be repaired or replaced without charge, at our discretion. It is possible at the time of repair that the exact zipper or buttons are no longer available. In such cases available zippers and/or buttons will be used.

All other the materials used to make your coat or jacket: the outer shell, snaps, Velcro® strips, adjustable bows, fabrics and insulation materials are guaranteed for one year from the date of your purchase against all manufacturing or workmanship defects. The warrantee does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended use. Damage not covered under warrantee will be repaired for a reasonable fee.

Repair or replacement of garments under warrantee. 
If your garment fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, our first option will be repair the item, free of charge. If the item is not repairable, or if the cost of repair exceeds the cost of a new one, we will replace it.

We won't leave you out in the cold. 
For a warrantee evaluation, or if your coat or jacket needs mending, bring it in to the nearest Manteaux Manteaux store and the manager will gladly send it in for an evaluation. If your coat or jacket is repairable, we can provide a quality repair at a reasonable price.

You may also send your coat or jacket to us in a box.

Please clean your garment prior to bringing it, or sending it in for repair or evaluation. 
Out of respect for our seamstresses, we ask you to have your garment cleaned before bringing for repair. We understand that this may be inconvenient, but we want to ensure the welfare of our Repair Department staff. Soiled garments will be returned to the customer for cleaning prior to being repaired or evaluated.

How long will it take? 
Our typical repair time is 3 to 4 weeks. In some cases it may be sooner and in certain rare cases, during our peak season turnaround time could stretch to 5 weeks. If you are in a rush to have your garment back, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
